Webinar Why

What is your webinar why?

Webinars are possibly the greatest marketing tool available to small businesses. They allow a business of any size to present themselves to potential and existing clients to demonstrate their expertise.

For many small businesses the opportunity to get airtime is precious oxygen that can feed the growth of the business. And, without a massive market presence and reputation many meeting organisers are reluctant to provide the opportunity for small businesses to stand in front of a group to deliver a reputation enhancing presentation.

An alternative is to hire a venue, pay for catering, and hope you can get potential clients to the venue… As the organiser you bare all the risk (and cost). And if only a handful of people attend your credibility will be diminished.

Why not create your own opportunity with a webinar?

A Webinar is simply a presentation delivered to a remote audience that is watching and listening to you on their computers in their home or office. A webinar can be delivered as a live event or automated event. You no longer need to rely on event organisers to gift you an opportunity to speak, nor do you have to incur the heavy expenses associated with venue hire and catering. And, if you get a low attendance to your webinar…. The other attendees don’t know who is online – so no one knows but you!

There are many reasons why, as a coach, consultant, solopreneur you should include webinars in your marketing mix. They are:

Build Pre-Qualified Leads – One of the greatest benefits of webinars is the ease in which they allow you to add new leads to your database. Even better is the fact that the leads are pre-qualified – they would not have signed up for the webinar if the topic was not relevant for them!

Build Trust – The simple act of seeing your face and hearing your voice allows potential clients the opportunity to get to know you. Through the webinar as they get to know you, and hear your expertise trust is established between you and your audience.

Build Credibility and Expertise – Delivering presentations, in person or online, is one of the most effective ways to establish yourself as an authority figure in your niche.

Build Relationships – Webinars provide an environment where your existing clients can gain additional benefit from associating with you. This will only increase their faith in your services and help them justify spending more dollars with you.

When you organise your webinar you should identify WHY you are conducting the webinar event. You can then ensure your marketing, your presentation, and your post event follow up is targeted to get you maximum return for the time you invest.
